Ever wondered what kind of work and time really goes into some of those larger tattoo pieces you see? Below is an example of a full calf piece done on shop manager, Athena Angelic. This beautiful orchid design was tattooed by Trevor Kennedy. Trevor and Athena did about 20 tattoo sessions lasting from 3 to 6 hours each session.
Here is Athena happy to be finished with her first 5-hour session.

This technique is called "Blood Letting."
